Greetings From Key West, Florida

Not as neatly manicured as Naples, and without such truly seedy areas as Sarasota, but with just the right blend of each, Key West is a delightful location for a business meeting and I recommend it heartily. If you choosing between Key West and Toledo, I say go for Key West. If you are choosing between Key West and Boulder or Denver, I still say Key West.

In some ways a "family" destination, but in significant ways it really isn't. (Captain Tony's Saloon).

Metal guy preparing for the evening show at Mallory Square.

Artisans and craftspeople.

This guy - the black guy - is an absolute nut.

"Whatever you do, don't look up."

I don't know why it is, but the notion of people made out of metal is absolutely enchanting to everyone.

I gave him a $5 tip, so please disabuse yourself of the idea I was just gawking for blog purposes.

From the hotel, Pier House Resort. Right at the foot of Duval street and a minute's walk to restaurants and everything else. Nothing like this in Colorado, that's for sure.

  3. Did not get to fish, days too full of meetings. But man oh man, this would be the place to fish - next time I am building in more time and bringing the gear.
