La Fin de Semana del (no) Labor

In an exciting turn of events this weekend, Joe Budzinski agreed to brave the elements of Baltimore and came up on Saturday. While no one got stabbed (in front of us) we did get a chance to tour many of the exciting areas. When we finished Joe joined Jefe and I for a little bit of kickball practice and then we went to Joe K's house for the after practice cookout:

Things started to get really out of hand when they broke out Guitar Hero. Joe pwned (as the kids say) "We Got the Beat" by The Go-Go's:

while our own Jefe destroyed hearts with "18 and Life" by Skid Row:

Joe Budzinski is going to have to supply the footage from the rest of the night. We walked to the Ottobar and I left my camera at home, but had I thought to bring it, there would be stories of a 3-piece who nailed Johnny Cash without even covering one of his songs, the birthday of a certain Charm City Roller Girl who happened to let us crash her party and play some free pool against two lighting guys who were in town working on some movie (and The Wire), of which I believe we only won ONE entire game, mostly because we drank them under the table. And I think Joe got a picture of me catching flies again. . .yet again. . .at the Ottobar. A good time was had by all.

  1. Ok, now I'm confused...
I was up at a campground in northern PA over the weekend, and nearly every campsite was decked out with a confederate flag.
How could they be having a NOVA Town Hall jamboree there if Joe was in Baltimore?
