El Dia del (no) Labor

Nearly everyone knows that nearly every road up through Maryland to Pennsylvania ends in Gettysburg. This is true unless the roads end in Harrisburg, and that happens with some degree of frequency. Even this road today ended up there:


Every once in a blue moon the roads from Maryland into Pennsylvania end up in Philadelphia. Philadelphia, however, has lost whatever luster it once had. But when the roads up through Maryland to Pennsylvania lead to Harrisburg, they usually end at the Appalachian Brewing Company like they did again today:

This afternoon I ordered the Kipona Fest, their August Specialty Beer, and the Mt. Lager Bratwurst Reuben, and remembered back on the past month:


It was a good month. Maybe even one of the best in recent memory.
