Howdy kind bear-folk,

My friend Adam, in Richmond, VA, told me about y'all and your musical predilection. I didn't realize anyone in Arizona dug (and still digs) the Magnetic Fields, Nick Drake, etc. The stuff you have on your site sounds a lot like The Kings Of Convenience, but with better lyrics and some nice dissonance.

Anyway. I'm wondering two things:

1) I've had a longstanding inspiration/aspiration to be a bear for Halloween. Not a Care-bear, or Pooh (which I think I'm going to be for part of Saturday . . . another story . . . and not a fulfilling one), but a REAL bear. A bear with claws and fangs, and fur standing straight up on my back. A grumpy bear, if you will. I thought, given your band name, you may have insight where one might comandeer such a costume on short notice.

If not, that's cool. Me either. I'm starting to get used to the idea of being a Sit n' Spin, instead (will people get that?). So . . .

2) I've lived in Phoenix for over a year, and have had too many people look at me like I'm insane for passing up a free ticket to a Bon Jovi concert or something of the like. Adam mentioned that y'all get together and play in what sounded like an open kind of setting. If so, could I make plans to connect and bring my guitar, or at least come listen in?
