  3. I'm pretty sure I'm the one with the hat. You had the bigger beard and all the hair on top. I just love this drawing.

  4. My eight-year-old students aren't drawing anything close! Should I blame myself for that, or their visual-motor impairments? I'm guessing Adam's wearing the berret, but really it's a toss-up.

    Adam, is that a kidney superimposed on your portrait of me? How appropriate, and on my screen it appears to be actual size.

  5. Actually, Ryan, it's a badly scribbled brain, but as much liquid as you used to consume, a kidney would be more appropriate.

    Living on nothing but whole tomoatoes, short baguettes, sliced cheese and garlic salt will shed pounds right off, Jeremiah.
    We did suck down a whole bottle of Emmett's Irish creme on that island, and I did buy a can of chichirones en su tinta (cuttle fish in their ink) to cook on our camp stove.
