The agri-rape of America always looks so beautiful from a plane, especially in the snow. When we went to Ireland in 01, we had to switch planes in London then fly back west over Wales. The Boxing Day Welsh landscape of ancient pasture and fields stonewalled in was resplendent in a coat of white. I've always held on to that sight.
