It's definitely the working class anthem-they don't call them blue collar on that side of the pond, love. I can't believe I didn't notice it was Cocker singing in the Goblet of Fire.
the bishop is wrong. i'm not changing the argument, he's changing his mind. of course it makes fun of rich people, but if someone is saying that people's life 'have no meaning or control' or that all they do is 'dance and drink and screw because there's nothing else to do,' i don't think it's advocating for them. that may be the intention, but it's pretty condescending and exploitative. still, awesome song.
Nor had I, but I think I'll pick it up tomorrow. Ol' Jarvis is always worth bending an ear to.
