So They Still Let Me On This Blog?

The obligatory lobster-chasing-puppy-in-the-snow photo, by way of greasing the skids for another set of postings here.

I am going hog-hunting this weekend in the Everglades and am bringing my camera. There may be no actual hogs to report but in the event there are no hunting accidents, boar attacks, or plane crashes I expect to return with pictures from the wilderness. Emphasis on WILD.

  1. Enjoy your flight through government controlled skies down to them government run wildlife refuges and national parks.

  2. I can't wait! Totally want to see pictures of spitfired hogs. Never mind the riff-raff around here.

  3. Nothing government run about this place, it is an 18000 acre lease owned by some huge developer. Way out in the middle of nowhere. First impression: wild hogs are scary big.

  5. I do not root for the swine. I hope one gets shot and skewered and pit-fired and eaten.

  6. Sadly, the pigs have won the day. More soon, but unfortunately the recap will be kosher ...

  7. I always encourage all of you to root for the pig, so Gel Paco and I are on the same page.

That being said, the experience was a teaching moment, and maybe when the story is told I will win some supporters. Ran into a buzzsaw at work when I got home, however, so no report yet.
