I took a lot of pictures here, but it was overcast outside so the light wasn't streaming through the ceiling as I'd hoped. I can't believe I'd never been to this place before, it was beautiful, although perhaps better visited without little kids. The National Botanical Garden is only 3 blocks or so from the Federal Center SW Metro stop.
Wow, I didn't know there was one there. I also never went to the arboretum but always meant to.
ReplyDeleteI ran the youth garden program when i worked in DC. I took a group of kids top the arboretum every week in spring. We grew mustard greens, onions, and strawberries.
