Scenes From The Warehouse District Off Florida Avenue in NE Washington Home of the Legendary Union Market

On the bathroom wall of the old 930 club it used to say "Jumbo is that N-". I had told Kev about this a short time before we were drawn to this building.
This looks like a mouth on one of the Thomas and Friends trains.
Where else do you go for fresh goat in DC?
The streets were empty on Sunday afternoon at Union Market except for a lone kid riding his bike in circles, half-watching us.

The only other people on the block-more curious picture takers like ourselves seeking the Funky Flea Market where a bike is 35 bucks, a fine adult feature film is 2 bucks, and the Nokchampa incense burns strong in the thick August air.

  1. Nice, I never even noticed the swastika under the ATM sign.
