I finally saw this today! He makes syd Barrett look very normal. I was proud to see myself kind of mentioned in the movie-scene where they mention only 5,800 people bought his album "fun". I bought it-twice.
Allicia and I got it on Netflix a few months ago. We loved it. I remember listening to "Fun" at 1625 1/2.
I saw him at Hole-in-the-Wall at Richmond in maybe '99. The place was jam-packed. I was just a few feet from him. I remember thinking he looked very frightened. He chain-drank cans of coke and lined them up on the ledge behind him.
I'm sure everyone has already heard of this, if not already seen it, but just in case you haven't, it's a damn fine picture and available on video.
